    STORM WATER AND PERMITTING

We at SNYDER GEOLOGIC have experience in providing permitting services from well and boring permits, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, groundwater dewatering permits, and storm water permits for both the California Industrial General Permit (IGP) and Construction General Permit (CGP).

Scott Snyder is a Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer/Practitioner (QSD/P) with experience with the most recent versions of the IGP and CGP. We always to strive to recommend and implement the most cost-effective, low maintenance, and effective Best Management Practices (BMPs) in our SWPPPs so that you can focus on what you do best, either running your industrial facility, or constructing your project. You don’t have time to fix and constantly maintain BMPs, and we recognize there is no benefit to specifying BMPs that are complicated, high maintenance, costly, and thus ultimately ineffectual. After all, the SWPPP is developed to be implemented and effective; BMPs that are not implemented and maintained properly are sure to fail, putting your site

in non-compliance with your own SWPPP and permit. Our goal is to keep you in compliance.
We are also experienced in obtaining NPDES groundwater discharge permits to the storm sewer system, directly into waters of the state, and the shoreline region. In almost every case, water treatment is required and we worked with experienced professionals in developing tailored treatment and monitoring systems for your project. In circumstances where discharge to the sanitary sewer is feasible and permissible, we can also work with the local sewer agency to obtain a discharge permit and monitoring requirements for your project.

We have worked with the Regional Water Quality Control Boards to obtain Reports of Waste Discharge for contaminated soil reuse/disposal off site, temporary waste stockpile certifications, and inert soil reuse.
